The Emerald Coast Public Relations Foundation is a 501(c)3 organization established to encourage professionalism and scholarship in the fields of public relations, communication, marketing, and journalism.

The foundation invites corporate sponsors and individuals to support scholarships awarded annually to exceptional high school seniors in Santa Rosa, Okaloosa, and Walton counties whose college studies focus on public relations, communication, marketing, or journalism. While any donation is appreciated, suggested giving levels and associated sponsor benefits are listed below.

Sponsorship Tiers & Benefits

Gold Level

$1,000 or more

  • Scholarship naming rights and co-sponsorship

  • Joint presentation at the awards ceremony

  • Recognition in all public releases, website articles, and social media

  • Corporate logo placement and link on ECPRO’s website

Silver Level

$500 - $999

  • Scholarship naming rights and co-sponsorship

  • Recognition in all public releases, website articles, and social media

  • Corporate logo placement on ECPRO’s website

Bronze Level

$250 - $499

  • Recognition in all public releases, website articles, and social media

Public Relations Foundation to Award $1,000 Scholarships

The Emerald Coast Public Relations Foundation (ECPRF) will award several $1,000 scholarships to graduating seniors in Okaloosa, Walton, and Santa Rosa county high schools who plan to pursue a college degree in public relations, communication, marketing, or journalism. One scholarship is sponsored by Eglin Federal Credit Union, and Sherry Harlow, APR, sponsors one scholarship. Other scholarships may be available.

The Emerald Coast Public Relations Foundation awarded two $1,000 scholarships to a recent graduate of Milton High School and a home school senior from Freeport at the monthly Emerald Coast Public Relations Organization’s luncheon held at the Fort Walton Beach Chamber of Commerce on Tuesday, June 11, 2024.
