Our Mission

Formed in 1992, the Emerald Coast Public Relations Organization (ECPRO) is a professional organization that fosters an interest in the public relations field; encourages professional development for those employed in the public relations field; maintains a high degree of standards and ethics in the performance of public relations tasks; and offers instruction. ECPRO is a member of the Southern Public Relations Federation (SPRF).

Public Relations Foundation to Award $1,000 Scholarships in 2026

The Emerald Coast Public Relations Foundation will award several $1,000 scholarships to graduating seniors from high schools in Okaloosa, Walton, and Santa Rosa counties who plan to pursue a college degree in public relations, communication, marketing, or journalism. The three college scholarships are sponsored by (1) Eglin Federal Credit Union, (2) Sherry Harlow, APR, and (3) Linda Evanchyk, Carr, Riggs & Ingram, and Pitell Law Firm.
