Like many of you, we have continually been watching the COVID-19 crisis unfold before our eyes as we closely monitor developments. Six days ago, Governor DeSantis’ request that all entities in the state of Florida postpone mass gatherings of 250 or more. Monday the Trump Administration released new guidelines to avoid groups of more than 10 people. During these challenging times and in response to this growing public health concern, our communities continue to feel an increased widespread impact which is creating a stressful environment.

The ECPRO Board of Directors is committed to being responsive to new recommendations including “social distancing.” We genuinely care about the health and safety of our members and the communities served. To ensure safety, we have decided to cancel the ECPRO Lunch and Learn Meetings scheduled indefinitely. We are proactively trying to do our part, to be supportive of the ongoing efforts to minimize the effects of this virus.

We appreciate your continued understanding as we navigate through this difficult time of uncertainty. We each need to seek & learn how “not to panic” during the Coronavirus pandemic; be mindful, take advice and put in place all necessary precautions.

Although we are disappointed that we will not see you for a couple of months, your health, your family’s health and the health and safety of our surrounding communities are our absolute top priorities.

Our hearts go out to all who have been affected by Coronavirus. As we adjust our lives in these rapidly changing times, we thank you for your patience.
