Joe Purka, director of the Emerald Coast Public Relations Foundation presented a $1,000 check to Nicole Gillis, a recent graduate of Gulf Breeze High School. This scholarship was made possible by contributions from Eglin Federal Credit Union and Carr, Riggs & Ingram, Niceville. The Foundation annually awards scholarships to students pursuing degrees in public relations, communication, journalism and related fields of study.
