ECPRO Honors Jean Dutton at Holiday social and Scholarship Fundraiser

The Emerald Coast Public Relations Organization (ECPRO) invites you to the club’s annual holiday social and fundraising event on Tuesday, Dec. 10, from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at The Twisted Grape Wine Bar in Shalimar.

This year’s event will honor Jean Dutton, who has been a dedicated member of ECPRO for many years. Dutton has aided in the club’s success throughout the years by serving on the board and by advertising and promoting the organization. She has been active in the community since her late husband’s assignment to Hurlburt Field. She was the director of the Crisis Line for 17 years and executive director of ShelterHouse for three years. Most recently, Dutton sold advertising and took pictures for Emerald Ladies’ Journal.

Along with honoring Dutton, this annual social provides an opportunity to learn more about the Emerald Coast Public Relations Foundation, which was established in 2007 to support education and advancement in public relations and related fields. The Foundation has provided scholarships each year to local high school students pursuing higher education and a career in public relations, marketing or journalism. Fundraising efforts are necessary to provide a pool for future scholarships.

ECPRO members, guests, prospective members and the media are invited to attend. There will be networking, socializing ,food, drinks and door prizes. Event tickets are $25 per person through www.eventbrite.com, and one free drink ticket is included. Tickets at the door will be $35. There will also be a cash bar.
